An example would be instead of using the keyword "dog barking," you might use the long-tail keyword "how to stop your dog barking." Using 5 words or more makes the keyword becomes a key phrase. Same effect just different terminology.

When writing articles for traffic generation to a landing or squeeze page, there are two different ways to use keywords. First, the article can show up higher in the search results because of the directory pages that contain the article. Google and other search engines search the article directory itself, and this can get the article listed higher on the search engine. In this case, it is best to choose keywords with medium search and low competition.

The second option is the article directory has its own search engine function, which readers use to search for information they are interested in. This on-site search engine can list your article in the results as well. In this case, it helps to use keywords that are popular and searched for often. You are not worried so much about competition in this case.
