The world is full of idiots. And many are successful business owners. But after having coached many online business owners, I know they wonder why they don't have a successful Internet business even though they consider themselves smart.

Do you know why people not as smart as you are becoming raging successes in their Internet businesses? It may have something to do with the huge amount of information available online. Sure you can learn a lot, but you can get confused at the same time from the sheer volume.

Don't take the really important parts of building an Internet business lightly. Many people make the mistake of thinking it's all about learning. Taking in as much information as they possibly can.

1) Being Action Oriented - Taking action is the real difference between the super-successful and the not-successful. These people simply absorb information and at their very best react to it. And with such an overwhelming supply of information, most of them are simply numbed by it.

Instead of getting stuck in the info-gathering mode like struggling online business owners, look at what successful people are doing. The embrace the idea of just do it. Sure they learn what's needed for a thriving Internet business. But then they put what they've learned into action. They are not paralyzed by too much information and the possibility of failing, like those who struggle. And they are not looking for the golden secret to Internet riches.

Here's how to not struggle anymore. Keep your eye on what you want to do. And be very focuses on what you have to do now to get there. Don't look ahead at future tasks. Just concentrate on the first thing that must get done. And don't worry about taking in more information.

2) Don't Doubt Yourself - No matter how much you think you're going to fail, stay focused on what you're doing. Sure you'll make mistakes. But an essential part of Internet business success is failing a few times, picking yourself up and dusting off, then learning from the experience. It's okay to make mistakes, just don't be too hard on yourself. Just find out what works and remember what didn't.

3) K.I.S.S. - Keep everything simple. There's no need to make growing a successful Internet business complicated. Don't get into the trap of always having too much going on and turning out work at a lesser quality than you're capable of.

Yet, the most successful online businesses I know do the opposite. When you pursue multiple directions in your business all at the same time, you end up making very little progress. And it doesn't matter if you are smarter and working harder than other successful people because you are spreading yourself way too thin.

4) Find The Hot Spot Of Your Market - It may be hard work, but knowing your market inside and out is your ticket to an energized Internet business. Take a look at where the money is flowing and who's spending it. Knowing this is essential, but it's only part of the story.

Now you have to get into the heads of your market. Not only what they want and what they are buying, but why. Never guess on this step unless you want to continue struggling. Once you know without a doubt how the market thinks and acts, your Internet business will take off like a rocket. It's all about knowing your market as deeply as you can.
